Basketball Recap: Schenectady Takes a Loss

Schenectady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 60-37 to the Niskayuna Silver Warriors. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly 23 points.

Schenectady's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Niskayuna, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Schenectady will take on Columbia in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Niskayuna and Guilderland will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Niskayuna has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 229 points over their last three contests.
