West Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Barbers Hill Eagles, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 397th, while the Eagles are ranked 123rd).

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Barbers Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1-2.

West Fork has already played their next contest (against Cypress Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Barbers Hill has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Goose Creek Memorial on the 17th.
