Baseball Recap: Lockport Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lockport can now relate to. They fell just short of the Downers Grove North Trojans by a score of 7-6 on Wednesday.

Adam Kozak made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Satunas, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Lockport's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-13. As for Downers Grove North, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-12.

As of now, neither Lockport nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
