Greenville H got themselves on the board against Greater Gwinnett Christian on Monday, but Greater Gwinnett Christian never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Barons. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Greenville H got a great performance from Adam Greene as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Greene has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Greenville H let Killian Budlong and Richard Jacobs III run wild. Budlong got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Jacobs III got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Greenville H is 7-1 when Jacobs III posts two or more runs, but 8-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was JJ Nixon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Greenville H and bumps their season record up to 15-10. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Greater Gwinnett Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.

Greenville H didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-6 loss against St. Joseph's Catholic on the 29th. Greater Gwinnett Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
