Coventry is a perfect 3-0 against North Providence since October of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Oakers will challenge the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Coventry's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Coventry and Middletown finished up their match with a 0-0 draw. That draw made it three straight for Coventry.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Providence). They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over Pilgrim on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for North Providence considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

With that draw, Coventry's record moves to 1-3-3. As for North Providence, their win bumped their record up to 3-1-3.

Coventry beat North Providence by a goal when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Oakers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
