Softball Recap: Covington Takes a Loss

Covington lost against Tri-County back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans lost 15-3 to the Cavaliers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since May 11, 2024.

Covington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Rottmann, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Covington is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Tri-County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Covington will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Attica at 5:00 p.m. This will be the Trojans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Tri-County, they will head out on the road to take on Rossville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
