Baseball Recap: Jenkins Takes a Loss

Jenkins came into this matchup off a tough 16-run loss last Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the East Ridge Warriors by a score of 13-11 on Tuesday. The Cavaliers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Sammy Whitaker made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole six bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. He has been hot, having posted two or more stolen bases the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Damon Church, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
