Football Recap: Ninety Six Takes a Loss

Ninety Six was the 41-30 winner over Ware Shoals when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 36-28 to the Hornets on Friday.

Ware Shoals had a senior duo take command as Jayden Johnson rushed for 83 yards and two scores and Altavis Evans rushed for 123 yards and a pair of TDs.

Ninety Six's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ware Shoals, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Ninety Six didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-12 victory against Blackville-Hilda on the 5th. As for Ware Shoals, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-12 win against Landrum on the 5th.
