Liberty has gone 8-2 against East Fairmont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Mountaineers will host the Bees at 5:00 p.m. Liberty is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Liberty lost 20-1 to Preston on Thursday.

Lewis County hit East Fairmont with a five-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bees came up short against the Minutemen, falling 12-4. The Bees have struggled against the Minutemen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Reese Van Zant and Sydney Baston stepped up to the plate in a big way. Van Zant got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI, while Baston went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Fairmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
