Recap: iMater Charter Knights vs. Key West Conchs
If the IMater Charter Knights were riding high off their 64-40 takedown of the Mater Brickell Academy Bulls last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. IMater Charter fell 61-52 to Key West on Monday.
Key West found their leader in underclassman James Osborne, who scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Osborne has scored all season. DeMarcus Deroche was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
IMater Charter's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Key West, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.
IMater Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Archbishop Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Key West will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Marathon at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th. Hopefully Marathon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Monday.
