Basketball Recap: Acadiana Takes a Loss

Acadiana lost against Southside back in January of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Acadiana Rams took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southside Sharks. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly four points.

This is the second loss in a row for Acadiana and nudges their season record down to 20-20. As for Southside, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 24-15 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Southside beat Acadiana by a score of 61-57 on Friday.
