Volleyball Recap: St. John's Bluejays vs. Arlington Red Devils
St. John had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Arlington Red Devils 3-2.
St. John's wouldn't go down easily and took Arlington into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 24-26, 27-25, 15-5.
Despite the loss, Arlington saw an underclassman step up: Allie Settlage had 16 digs. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for Settlage.
St. John's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.
As of now, neither St. John's nor Arlington have any future games scheduled.
