Softball Recap: Lewis County Panthers vs. Mt. Pleasant Tigers

There's no place like home for Lewis County, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Lewis County needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Brailey Carroll spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

At the plate, Lewis County got a massive performance out of Clara Tanner, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Makaela Dodson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
