After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Shakopee, Prior Lake was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Apple Valley Eagles out 11-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Prior Lake considering their two-run performance the contest before.
For Apple Valley's part, Aliyah Passmore put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits. Passmore was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
