Softball Recap: Naselle Takes a Loss

Naselle couldn't beat Ocosta on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Comets lost 18-8 to the Wildcats. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 15-6.

Naselle's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-6. As for Ocosta, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Naselle nor Ocosta have any future games scheduled.
