If Mohave wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bradshaw Mountain, they should've done a better job of containing Kylin Jackson. The Bears walked away with a 31-21 victory over the Thunderbirds on Friday for which the team can thank Jackson, who rushed for 204 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Bradshaw Mountain, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jackson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Despite the loss, Mohave still got an impressive performance from Joe Yoney, who threw for 256 yards and three TDs while completing 72.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 75 yards on only eight carries. Yoney also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making 12 total tackles and defending one pass.

Bradshaw Mountain now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mohave, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradshaw Mountain will host Flagstaff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mohave, they will be playing at home against Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
