Basketball Recap: School of the Ozarks Starts off Right with Win over Humansville

School of the Ozarks had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 42-32 victory over the Humansville Tigers on Friday. For the Patriots, this counts as revenge for the 41-38 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

School of the Ozarks was led to victory by Fisher Thompson and Canaan Thomas. Thompson posted 12 points, while Thomas almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 boards. That's the most rebounds Thomas has posted since back in January.

School of the Ozarks and Humansville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Patriots see the court they'll take on Blue Eye at 6:00 p.m. on December 9. As for Humansville, their break will end when they face Pleasant Hope at 5:30 p.m. on December 9.
