Pueblo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pueblo County Hornets. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Pueblo South couldn't quite close it out.

Pueblo South's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Pueblo County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1-2.

Pueblo South has already played their next matchup, a 5-2 win against Pueblo Centennial on the 30th. As for Pueblo County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Palmer Ridge on the 25th.
