Volleyball Game Preview: Minerva Lions vs. Northwest Indians

The Minerva Lions will face off against the Northwest Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Minerva is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

On Thursday, Minerva was able to grind out a solid win over Carrollton, taking the game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Northwest earned a 3-1 victory over Canton South on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Northwest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-23, 25-9, 25-19.

Minerva's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
