Basketball Recap: Mumford Comes Up Short

After flying high against Non Varsity Opponent on Thursday, Mumford came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell 52-43 to the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Aggieland HomeSchool found their leader in freshman Zane Call, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Caleb Cox was another key player, putting up 12 points and six rebounds.

Mumford's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Mumford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-36 win against Rogers on the 5th. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 85-77 victory against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 5th.
