The Warriors will welcome the Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Jordan is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Katy just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The Warriors were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the six games prior), but the Tigers' pitchers proved too tough.

Meanwhile, Katy Taylor fell victim to Katy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Katy Taylor, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
