Football Game Preview: Folsom Bulldogs vs. Jesuit Marauders + How To Watch

Folsom is a perfect 8-0 against Jesuit since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marauders at 7:00 p.m. Folsom will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Folsom is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Whitney: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Wildcats out of the water with a 48-7 final score. Considering the Bulldogs have won three games by more than 37 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryder Lyons had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 311 yards and three TDs while completing 87% of his passes, and also rushing for 71 yards. What's more, he racked up 148.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Jayden Padgett, who picked up 118 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Jesuit entered their contest against Del Oro on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Marauders took a 29-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

Folsom will have to contain Teddy Rios as he made an impact in Jesuit's last game. He rushed for 124 yards and one touchdown.

Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Folsom, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything came up roses for Folsom against Jesuit in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 55-10 victory. In that matchup, the Bulldogs amassed a halftime lead of 34-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
