Baseball Recap: Roseville Tigers vs. River Valley Falcons

While Roseville put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for River Valley. Roseville blew past River Valley 14-0. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won three in a row.

Austin Chang looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February.

On the hitting side, Kyle Pettersen was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. What's more, he posted four RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cyrus Young, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Roseville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
