Boaz hadn't done well against Guntersville recently (they were 1-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Boaz Pirates had just enough and edged out the Guntersville Wildcats 3-2. The result kept the Pirates happy, as they haven't lost a game since February 10th.

Boaz has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those four contests. Guntersville suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-2.

Boaz wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Fultondale on the 27th. As for Guntersville, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 win against Jacksonville on the 28th.
