Basketball Recap: Morrison Takes a Loss

Morrison lost against Eastland back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Morrison Mustangs were dealt a 95-33 defeat at the hands of the Eastland Cougars. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Morrison has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Eastland, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Morrison will challenge Amboy at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Morrison is facing Amboy at the right time seeing as Amboy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Eastland, they will face off against Hinckley-Big Rock at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
