Basketball Game Preview: Jim Hill Tigers vs. Canton Tigers

Jim Hill hasn't had much luck against Canton recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Jim Hill will head out to challenge Canton at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jim Hill comes in on three and Canton on 13.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Jim Hill and Pearl had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers walked away with a 68-59 win over the Pirates on Friday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Canton duked it out with Morton on Tuesday. The Tigers enjoyed a cozy 57-40 victory over the Panthers. The 57-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Jim Hill's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Canton, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Jim Hill might still be hurting after the 43-22 loss they got from Canton when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Jim Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
