Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Pandora-Gilboa's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against Kalida, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rockets have suffered since September 15th.
Pandora-Gilboa was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 26-24.
Pandora-Gilboa's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6. As for McComb, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
