Riverdale gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They put the hurt on the North Baltimore Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Riverdale not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept North Baltimore to exactly 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-18.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale will take on Upper Scioto Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Baltimore, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Hardin Northern at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
