Volleyball Recap: Marshfield Comes Up Short

Marshfield's tournament run continued when they took on Barneveld on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Abigail Cera paced Marshfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Cera got some help from Paige Schlagenhaft and her 12 assists.

Marshfield's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Barneveld, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will challenge D.C. Everest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Barneveld, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Onalaska on the 13th.
