Northwest is 9-0 against Eastern since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Both will face off at 6:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played.

On Wednesday, Northwest ended up a good deal behind Symmes Valley and lost 35-18. The match marked the Mohawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern). They breezed by Western to the tune of 62-23 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Eagles have posted since December 18, 2023.

Northwest dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Northwest beat Eastern 40-32 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Does Northwest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eastern turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
