Basketball Recap: High Point Christian Academy Triumphs

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the High Point Christian Academy Huskies beat Faith Christian Academy 44-39 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Among those leading the charge was Curtis Garber, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aaron Aten, who posted five points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

High Point Christian Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Faith Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

High Point Christian Academy and Faith Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Huskies see the court they'll take on Gilead Christian at 2:00 p.m. on December 13. As for Faith Christian Academy, their break will end when they face Kingsway Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
