Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask King). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the San Benito Greyhounds an 11-0 shutout on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Mustangs with their most commanding win of the season.

Justin Lytle made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Lytle was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Marco Barrera, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ethan Gamez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

King always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

King's win bumped their record up to 3-8-1. As for San Benito, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
