Friday just wasn't the day for Comstock's offense. They were dealt a 62-0 defeat at the hands of the Decatur Raiders on Friday. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Brody Mead was nothing short of spectacular for Decatur: he rushed for 160 yards and four scores on only 14 carries. Mead is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Comstock's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Decatur, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Comstock will take on rival Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Decatur is set to challenge their familiar foe White Pigeon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Raiders 9.3, the Chiefs 6.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
