Robinson's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 34-26 victory over the Marshall Lions. The Maroons haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Robinson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reese Johnson, who rushed for 85 yards and one TD, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and one touchdown. Another receiver making a difference was AJ Knoblett, who picked up 131 receiving yards and one score.

When it comes to explaining why Marshall lost, don't look at Lucca Giannavola. Despite the final result, he rushed for 175 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and one touchdown. Giannavola showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 53 yards.

Robinson's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3. As for Marshall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
