Volleyball Recap: East Coweta Comes Up Short

East Coweta was the 2-1 winner over Johns Creek when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Gladiators on Tuesday.

East Coweta started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 26-24.

East Coweta's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Johns Creek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Coweta will head out to square off against Allatoona at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are facing the Buccaneers at the right time seeing as the Buccaneers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Johns Creek, they will challenge St. Pius X Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
