James Logan waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Kennedy Titans a 14-0 shutout. With that win, the Colts brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Corynn Gracey tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ava Medellin, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most home runs she has posted over her last nine contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Janessa Parras, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

James Logan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kennedy only posted an OBP of .263.

James Logan pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Kennedy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Coming up, James Logan will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Amador Valley at 4:00 p.m. As for Kennedy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Washington at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th.
