It was a good run, but Talladega unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 57-22 loss at the hands of the Winterboro Bulldogs. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Talladega had strong showings from Zae Cunningham, who posted six points, and Justasia Pointer, who had five points.

Talladega's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Winterboro, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Talladega will challenge Sylacauga at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Winterboro, they will venture away from home to face off against Central of Coosa County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Winterboro is facing Central of Coosa County at the right time seeing as Central of Coosa County is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
