Basketball Recap: Pamlico Christian Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Faith Christian Academy

Pamlico Christian Academy had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 58-27 loss at the hands of the Faith Christian Academy Conquerors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mariners have suffered since November 25, 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Faith Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elisha Powell, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points and six steals. Those 17 points gave Powell a new career-high. Chandler Robertson was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to eight boards and six steals.

Faith Christian Academy's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Pamlico Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 57-56 loss against Jones on the 21st. As for Faith Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-34 win against Christ Covenant on the 21st.
