Russellville waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Ardmore Tigers 42-7. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Golden Tigers this season.

Whit Goodwin had an outrageously good game as he threw for 371 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes. Those 371 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Darron Jones got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Russellville now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ardmore, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Russellville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Golden Tigers will need to watch out since the Aggies have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Ardmore, they have already played their next contest, a 41-20 victory against Madison County on the 26th.
