If Trinity was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Wheatmore last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Davidson Golden Eagles on Monday. Trinity's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Trinity's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-7-3. As for East Davidson, they pushed their record up to 7-10-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
