Baseball Game Preview: Burney Raiders vs. Los Molinos Bulldogs

Burney hasn't had much luck against Los Molinos recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raiders will square off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Burney has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Burney is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 14-2 to Redding Christian.

Kyle Noah put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Noah was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Los Molinos waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Volcanoes as they made off with a 16-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 15 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Burney's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Los Molinos, their win bumped their record up to 20-6.

Burney might still be hurting after the 22-0 defeat they got from Los Molinos when the teams last played back in April. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
