Football Game Preview: Santa Teresa Saints vs. Christopher Cougars + How To Watch

Santa Teresa hasn't had much luck against Christopher recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Saints will square off against the Cougars at 7:15 p.m. Santa Teresa will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Santa Teresa is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Leigh: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Saints blew the Longhorns out of the water with a 42-7 final score. Considering the Saints have won five contests by more than 34 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Christopher came up short against Branham on Thursday and fell 26-14. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Christopher's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Santa Teresa, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Santa Teresa lost to Christopher on the road by a decisive 31-14 margin when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Saints, Jaxen Robinson (who threw for 282 yards and a pair of TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
