Volleyball Recap: Lynn Bears vs. Oakman Wildcats
After losing to Oakman the last time they met, Lynn decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Lynn Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Oakman Wildcats on Saturday.
Lynn was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 25-4.
Oakman's loss came despite strong showings from Bryleigh Thompson and Sophie Edgil. Thompson had 13 digs, while Edgil had four digs and three aces.
Lynn's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Oakman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
