Basketball Game Preview: Deer Park Stags vs. North Central Wolfpack

Having just played yesterday, the Deer Park Stags will head out on the road to face off against the North Central Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Deer Park has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 28.

On Friday, Deer Park lost to Clarkston at home by a 43-26 margin. While losing is never fun, the Stags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 318th, while the Bantams are ranked 145th).

Pullman typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday North Central proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Greyhounds with a 62-57 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolfpack.

North Central's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Deer Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-16.

Deer Park was taken down by North Central 96-49 in their previous meeting back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Deer Park was down 50-30.
