Volleyball Recap: Reidsville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Reidsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Morehead Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 25-11.

Kaiyah Brim paced Reidsville's offense, picking up six kills. Brim got some help from Pamela Bell and her eight assists. Bell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Morehead can attribute much of their success to Onyai Autry, who had eight aces. With that strong performance, Autry is now averaging an impressive 3.2 aces per game.

Reidsville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Morehead, they moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Reidsville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Bartlett Yancey on the 1st. As for Morehead, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Carver on the 2nd.
