Volleyball Recap: Sam Houston Comes Up Short

Sam Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Burbank Bulldogs. The Hurricanes were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Sam Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Burbank, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Sam Houston and Burbank will both be playing Winn the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Mavericks at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Hurricanes will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
