Baseball Recap: Essex Comes Up Short

Essex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 23-1 to the Lenox Tigers. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 18-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in June of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Essex's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Lenox, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.

Essex does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lenox, they will head out on the road to take on East Mills on Tuesday.
