Football Preview: Savanna Rebels vs. Pioneer Titans
Savanna has been away from home for two games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Pioneer Titans at 6:30 p.m.
Last Friday, Savanna had to suffer through a 53-18 loss at the hands of Anaheim. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Colonists: they've now lost six in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Fabrissio Ramirez, who picked up 144 receiving yards and two touchdowns. His longest reception was for an incredible 79 yards. Nate Eich was another key signal caller, throwing for 263 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Pioneer had a senior duo take command as Amiri Resendiz threw for 88 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing and Adrian Lopez rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Those 108 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Lopez. Pioneer also got a significant boost from Damian Salguero, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
Savanna's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pioneer, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
