Loogootee and Eastern Greene are an even 5-5 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Lions are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Thunderbirds at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Loogootee will be strutting in after a victory while Eastern Greene will be coming in after a loss.

Loogootee is headed out to face Eastern Greene after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Lions came out on top against Wood Memorial by a score of 53-40 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Eastern Greene had to suffer through a 79-19 loss at the hands of South Knox. The defeat continues a trend for the Thunderbirds in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Everything went Loogootee's way against Eastern Greene when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Loogootee made off with a 55-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
