Riverton Parke extended their postseason success on Friday against North Central. They breezed past the Thunderbirds to the tune of 41-6. Fans of the Panthers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Sean Vester and Derek Collom. Vester rushed for 97 yards and one TD while Collom rushed for 85 yards and one score on only 11 carries.

Riverton Parke was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 362 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 203 rushing yards in 21 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Riverton Parke's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 40.8 points thus far. As for North Central, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 7-4 record.

Looking ahead, Riverton Parke will be playing in front of their home fans against South Putnam at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last six contests. North Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
